Ovule

A small or immature ovum inside the ovary of the  pistil of flowers

Parallel Venation

The arrangement of veins in parallel in a leaf
पत्ती में समानांतर रूप से नसों की व्यवस्था।

Petal

 Flowers blade, each of the segments of the Corolla of a flower
पंखड़ी, एक फूल के  दलपुंज के प्रत्येक खंड।

Petiole

Part of the leaf by which leaf is joined to the stem of the plant or leafstalks
पत्ती का वह भाग जिससे पत्ती पौधे के तने से जुड़ती है।

Photosynthesis

The process by which green plants and some other organisms use sunlight to synthesize foods from carbon dioxide and water. Photosynthesis in plants generally involves the green pigment chlorophyll and generates oxygen as a byproduct.
वह प्रक्रिया जिसके द्वारा हरे पौधे और कुछ अन्य जीव सूर्य के प्रकाश का उपयोग कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड और पानी से खाद्य पदार्थों को संश्लेषित करने के लिए करते हैं। पौधों में प्रकाश संश्लेषण में आम तौर पर हरे रंग का वर्णक क्लोरोफिल शामिल होता है और ऑक्सीजन को बायप्रोडक्ट के रूप में उत्पन्न करता है।

Pistil

The innermost parts of the flower

Reticulate Venation

The arrangement or design of leaf veins is net- Like on both sides of the midrib
पत्ती शिराओं का डिजाइन शुद्ध है- जैसे।

Sepal

Each of the parts of the calyx of a flower
एक फूल के कैलीक्स के प्रत्येक भाग।

Shrubs

A woody plant that is smaller than a tree and has several main stems arising at or near the ground.
एक लकड़ी का पौधा जो पेड़ से छोटा होता है और जमीन पर या उसके आस-पास कई मुख्य तने होते हैं।

Taproot

A straight tapering root growing vertically downward and forming the center from which subsidiary rootlets spring.
एक सीधी टेपिंग रूट खड़ी होकर नीचे की ओर बढ़ती है और जिससे सहायक रूटलेट्स स्प्रिंग बनता है।

Transpiration

Is a process through which plants release a lot of water in the form of vapor  into the air
एक ऐसी प्रक्रिया है जिसके माध्यम से पौधे हवा में वाष्प के रूप में बहुत सारा पानी छोड़ते हैं।

Trees

Plants that are very tall and having hard and thick stem has branches in the upper parts.
पौधे जो बहुत लंबे होते हैं और सख्त होते हैं और मोटे तने की ऊपरी भागों में शाखाएँ होती हैं।

Veins

vein is a vascular structure in a leaf that provides support for the leaf and transports both water and food. 
एक पत्ती में नस एक संवहनी संरचना होती है जो पत्ती के लिए समर्थन प्रदान करती है और पानी और भोजन दोनों को स्थानांतरित करती है।

Ans: Yes, there are many plants that have a long but weak stem in our neighborhood. Among them, a bean plant is one such plant. It comes under the category of climber. 
4 What is the function of a stem?
Ans: The main functions of stem are to conducts water and minerals from roots to the leaves and other parts of the plants, also supplied food from leaves to other parts of the plant.   
 5. Which of the following leaves have the reticulate venation?
Wheat, tulsi, maize, grass, coriander (dhania), China rose.
Ans: Leaves having reticulate venation are Tulsi, coriander, China rose.
6.If a plant has a fibrous root. What type of venation do its leaves have?
Ans: Parallel venation.
7. If a plant has leaves with reticulate venation. What kinds of roots will it have?
Ans: Taproot.
8. Is it possible for you to find out whether a plant has taproot or fibrous roots by looking at the impression of its leaf on a sheet of paper?
Ans: Yes,  if the leaf shows reticulate venation than the plant has a taproot and if the leaf shows parallel venation than the plant has fibrous root.
9. What are the parts of a flower?
Ans: The parts of a flower are mainly sepals, petals, stamens, and pistil.
10. From the following plants, which of them have flowers?
Grass, maize, wheat , chilli , tomato , tulsi, peepal , shisham , banyan , mango ,jamun , guava, pomegranate , papaya, banana , lemon , sugarcane , potato, groundnut .
Ans: Here all plants have flowered.
